The European Commission has launched today a public consultation on the revision of the Framework on State aid to Shipbuilding, document that is applicable until 31 December 2011. For this purpose, the Commission has published a questionnaire addressed to all interested parties, local and regional public authorities, shipyards and their associations, ship owners and their associations, maritime suppliers, social partners and any other stakeholders. The result of this consultation will serve as a basis for maintaining or amending the actual Framework.
